COVID 19 UPDATE
Covid 19 has affected all aspects of life over the last 12 moths, and although we now see hope for the future, we must all still take care to reduce risk of infections.
As with all businesses in these testing times, we have assessed our business operations to take into account the wellbeing and safety of both our staff and our clients.
Thankfully as a small organisation we have smaller risks associated with workers contact, and we have operated as a business with split facilities and workshops for a number of years so the impact on our ability to support you has been minimal.
We remain fully open for business, although we would always assess any risk and your preferences for face to face meetings where required. We have used Skype and other interactive ways to hold "virtual" meetings for many years so have been quick on the uptake of these for continuation of business whilst abiding by social distancing rules.
We have maintained full online, email and telephone orders and our suppliers have adjusted their operations to support us. In essence, apart from seeing you face to face our business remains unchanged, and we are here for you 24/7.
We are readily available via phone, Zoom, Teams and Skype and in all reality have found these to be mutually beneficial so that you can talk to us easily and simply without the pressure of a face to face meeting. Of course, we pride ourselves on not being pushy in our sales, so we can offer the same unbiased, open and honest advice without forcing you into a sale you may not want. Again, as a multi-talented and small organisation we do not need to push you into expensive commitments purely to feed our overheads.
We have 2 fully equipped and independently run workshops so can still offer a fast turnaround for you two way radio ( and other equipment) repairs nationwide.
We have amended our internal policies for both sales orders and hires do that you can order in confidence that we are taking your and our personal safety into consideration.
The biggest impact, however, is that any repairs coming into our workshops may be "quarantined" for a day or two whilst we cleanse and sterilise them - again for your and our safety. In addition, we ensure our hire fleet is suitably cleansed and disinfected using procedures as per our advice leaflet below. We do NOT supply Ear tube earpieces for hire, and any D shell earpiece which is not brand new is thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, labelled and bagged in sterile bags before allocating.
