Our prices are cost effective - with a minimum charge of just £10, and repairs charged in 5 minute “segments” based on our hourly charge of just £50/hr, experience tells us we can generally fix most common faults in less than 20 mins so an average repair cost is typically around £18 plus parts (and shipping @£8 per lot). We believe in transparency of pricing, so that if we tell you "its going to cost £x" to fix, there are no surprises.
We firmly believe that if you don't want to replace, we will do our upmost to keep your existing equipment serviceable.
To us, two way radio repairs are not just a service, it's a passion. Unlike some dealers who will overprice repairs purely to bump up their profit margin, we prefer to keep the customer happy, and coming back. We will always do our upmost to keep your equipment working, but fully appreciate that there is sometimes a time when we have to let it go to the great radio retirement home in the sky, and that decision is based on spares availability and cost/benefit to repair.
Also, we hate suppliers who claim that "the parts are expensive". Some are, agreed, but most are not and it is more likely they do not have their own facilities and send back to manufacturer for expensive fixed price repairs or they see looking after your equipment purely as an additional profit stream.
Please note however that as of 1st January 2022 we have withdrawn support for a number of old products, mainly ones which are either programmed with Windows 98 or older software which we do not support. It is always worth speaking to us as we may not need to program it to fix it!
