The Kenwood TK-3701D, part of the Protalk range is a licence-free Digital dPMR446 and PMR446 UHF digital transceiver.

This licence-free UHF digital transceiver features both digital dPMR446 and analogue PMR446 communications so can be used in new and old systems, or part of an upgrade path to digital. The package comes complete with transceiver, rechargeable battery, charger and belt clip. The TK-3701D is perfect for professional applications and Kenwood has a reputation for equipment with good audio, so this radio doesn't let you down.

The TK-3701DT has up to 48 preset channels and capable of 32 Digital channels and 16 Analogue Channels.  Mixed Operation is allowed so the radio can be used in older systems as well as new, all defined automatically and giving you the freedom to upgrade as and when you need to.
